Mr.
Abubakr Vakil, son of Mr. Umer M Vakil was born on July the 10th of 1938 in
Bombay India. He migrated to Karachi Pakistan on the 17th of
August 1947.
He
has 5 brothers and 4 sisters. Two of his sisters are elder than him. He
had his early religious and regular education in Bombay. He received his
first B S C from Karachi University in 1960 in the subjects of Zoology and
Botany. Then he completed his second graduation in Chemistry in 1962.
Mr.
Vakeel married in 1965 to Zaibunnisa , and has three sons and two
daughters. He is a proud grand father of five grand daughters and four
grand sons.
Mr. Abu Bakar Vakeel came to U. S. A. in 1978 with his five children. His
brothers started Lights of America in 1978 after his arrival. He has worked
as a technical director with Industrial Rubber Cement company for 2 years
and 4 months and retired from Lights of America in 1995.
