HIS THOUGHTS ABOUT THE URDU WRITERS SOCIETY:
Language is the identity of any person or a nation. Urdu is not only the language but it is our tradition and it
represents entire culture of our nation, it is our identity. It must be more than our job to preserve it for our
future generations. Despite of limited resources available to it, Urdu Writers Society is doing an excellent
job in United States to promote and to preserve the language and help bridge the distance between nations.
I am very proud of all the members of the society who are tirelessly and diligently devoting their time and
energy in serving the language without any personal gain.
The "HAJI MOHAMMAD AWARD" is a note of thanks and a way to support the Urdu Writers Society from
our family to the Urdu lovers. The Ishaq family greatly appreciate all the efforts the society is making to keep
the language alive while living thousands of miles away from home-countries.
My heartiest congratulations to all of the members for doing such a great job and wish the society the
best of luck.
