Mr. Arif Mansuri,
a renowned public figure,
social worker and a local business man has
announced a US $1000.00 cash award for
California's Urdu writers and/or
promoters.
This award will be given in
honor of Mr. Mansuri's father
Mr. Zafar Ali Mansuri (Late).
This award will be presented yearly
to any poet or prose writer who
demonstrates an outstanding
contribution to the Urdu language.
